Nora’s third CD, “Only The Beginning”, consists of six original songs; two Nora wrote herself and four that she co-wrote. There are also four of Nora’s favorite cover tunes that she got licenses for. Since Nora performs solo, she wanted this CD to be more of a simple, acoustic project. “I wanted the listener to feel like they were sitting around a campfire listening to friends singing and playing their acoustic instruments. Also I personally love acoustic albums because the emphasis is on the lyrics” says Collins. This CD features only vocals, guitar and fiddle. Nora’s vocals are not auto-tuned or pitch corrected and most songs were done live in one take.
